Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic variety earned her acclaim in a variety of genres from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson is the daughter of an architect and producer, was born as a child in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. In her early years she was able to begin acting. At the age of 7, she had already auditioned for several commercials. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. As a child, Johansson appeared in Sophistry with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North on the set of Rob Reiner's North in. Johansson was later seen in Just Cause (1995), but her first break came through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters who run away. Then, she was awarded the praise of critics for playing a teenage girl who had been injured and resulted in her being disfigured as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. She was a performer since she was young. Smith found her first role as an actor when she was six years old thanks to her parents. In a commercial on television Smith starred as Dannon Yogurt. Like other young actors, she started her stage career. Additionally, she was involved in various projects throughout the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first onstage show. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
