Mitchell's best friend Angela 15, who was fifteen years old when she died in a death in an accident with a vehicle and a car, also wrote about her experience. Mitchell was devastated and composed the track Angel to Angela on her first album. The song was featured on her 7th Heaven Episode Nothing Endures But Change and in Chicken Soup for Preteen Soul she also talked about the experience.
