Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. The actress reprised this role when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. She was also nominated for an Drama League Award. Molly played the role in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). After graduating at Princeton University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Religion and was a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. It was during this time when she made her feature film debut in Disney s College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. at the time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. After graduation Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater as well as in a few productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was part of the 2007 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as well as in the the Westport Country Theater's production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she starred as Anne. Molly was a part of several regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne-Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. The play in which she played the teenager daughter Ali.
